Nowadays people are more interested in environment and sports practised in it.
Consequently, local and regional governments have changed their politics and they try to conserve it. However, it is not always this way.
An option we have to defend our local trails is to create a trail club.
I have found a briefly PDF about this from American Hiking Society. It gives us some interesting advices that could help us. Although it is from America, it is completely useful everywhere.
We have to consider that one person can't fight against the world. Because of this and in order to defend our interests, we must join forces and strive for what we care.
It is not an easy task. But all together, we can conserve the environment and continue enjoying it for generation after generation. This is the only way!
